The Frontier’s base model KING CAB® S boasts a 3.8-liter DOHC V6 24-valve engine. This engine grants the Frontier 310 281 lb-ft of torque as well as 310 horsepower. The engine features an idle stop/start function to reduce gas emissions. The Frontier’s robust engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission, and the pickup truck has an independent double-wishbone front suspension with a stabilizer bar.
